  1. Chuck E Cheese’s

August 14, 2009 by Katie Lynn

My parents took me out to this really fun place.  It was just for kids!!  My parents wanted to take me before Peanut comes.  Whoever Peanut is ;)

We had pizza and got to watch the big mouse sing and dance on stage.  I then got to play games and earn tickets.  I even got a prize!  I had so much fun and just wanted to share some pictures with you all.

  2. Full Term!

August 11, 2009 by Tom Sepper

    We made it!

Yesterday marked the 37 week point — full term! Since Katie Lynn arrived around the 36 week mark, we were ecstatic to make it to 37 weeks.

Monica’s appointment went very well! Peanut is measuring roughly 38 weeks and weighs around 7lbs 3oz. We discussed “the plan” with the doctor and got her thoughts. Monica’s blood pressure has generally been fine throughout her pregnancy but at times it has been elevated in relation to her norm. Depending on how Monica’s checkup goes a week from today, an induction might be scheduled for Thursday, August 20! We’ll definitely keep everyone updated.

    A couple recent sonograms:

  3. Another Year coming soon

August 8, 2009 by Monica Sepper

What a fast summer and what a busy week.  I spent the first part of the week getting my classroom ready for yet another school year.  It is hard to believe that this will be my 6th year to teach, my very first class will be 7th graders next year.  I think that is just crazy!

At the end of last school year I had to take down my whole room.  Our school was getting a fresh coat of paint.  So to say the least, I had my work cut out for me.  Walking into my classroom with white walls, 8 plus months pregnant, a 21 month old helper, my Mom and no air conditioning = a LOT of work to be done.  I had taken the time to have it all organized as I pulled it off the walls at the end of the year and I had a plan of where I wanted everything to go.  My husband had gone up with me the week before one night and moved all my furniture.  (that was a big help) My Mom and I got to work right away first thing Monday morning and then Tuesday morning.  We got lots done and Katie Lynn played with all my Kindergarten stuff.  It worked out pretty well.  My walls are up and my sub will be able to walk in and teach if I don’t make the first of school.

Here is my room and I am very pleased with my calendar wall!!!

I still have a little bit of work to do but I am glad that hard part of putting everything up is over.  It was really nice of my Mom to come out and help, she did a lot of the hard work on getting up on the ladder and hanging all my butcher paper and higher things.  Since I am “not” allowed to climb it was great for her to do it for me.  Thanks MOM!!!!
