  1. Peanut…are you there?

March 12, 2009 by Monica Sepper

This is my favorite part of pregnancy!! The part when you get to feel the baby.  I remember it took forever to feel Katie Lynn but today I officially felt little Peanut.  I love that for the next 6-8 weeks Peanut is all mine and it is something special that we get to share.

I know that when he/she is bigger and Tom gets to feel him/her it will be special too.

Being able to feel the baby is the neatest feeling in the world and I feel so blessed to be able to experience this again.

Thank you all for your prayers.

  2. On a roll

Last weekend I finished up dress number 2 for Katie Lynn.  Same pattern with different fabric.  I am going to use the left over fabric to make a matching head peice some how.  Next time I will attempt pattern number 2 with fabric number 3 & 4.

We LOVE this face, it happens when she starts to walk to fast and almost looses her balance

  3. Out with the old, in with the new

There is always something to do with a house, it is never perfect.  We decided that our living room needs a new fan.  Easier said than done, found a fan, bought a fan, fan would not work with ceiling, cancel fan order.  So here is our old fan…

it will be there until we figure out something to do.

In the mean time, we decided to spend that money on a new dishwasher.  Our old one was not cleaning things very well at all and we rinsed everything really well.  It had some rust and it was kind of blah for a dishwasher that was only 7 years old.  In our first house, we replaced the dishwasher too for many of the same reasons but it was 20 years old.  I guess that is our thing, replace the dishwasher as our first big fix-er upper.

    The old:

Finally after 7 months….Tom told me I could buy new sheets and things for Katie Lynn’s room for her crib to match her walls.  Well, nothing has matched, nothing so far…until now. I found a white crib sheet with soft pink dots and they match the room!!! YEA!!  I also found a bumper to match the room as well.  It is a soft pink and really goes well.  Katie Lynn’s room is finally done….:)  Katie Lynn “loves” her new sheets and bumper, snug as a bug.
