  1. Our Little Miracle

June 18, 2008 by Tom Sepper

Katie Lynn had a check-up with her gastroenterologist today. Her weight checked in at 14 lbs. even and her height was 25″.

    Now for the GREAT news..

The doctor has released Katie Lynn from his care! He was extremely pleased with her progress and does not feel she needs to be under a GI specialist’s care any longer. He reminded us of some warning signs to be conscious of and to look for in the future.

Katie Lynn no longer has to see any doctors for her surgeries!

The good Lord has definitely worked His miracles on her and we could not be more thankful.

  3. Father’s Day

June 15, 2008 by Tom Sepper

    Dad is a person
    who is loving and kind,
    And often he knows
what you have on your mind.

    He’s someone who listens,
    suggests, and defends.
    A dad can be one
    of your very best friends!

    He’s proud of your triumphs,
    but when things go wrong,
    A dad can be patient
    and helpful and strong

    In all that you do,
    a dad’s love plays a part.
There’s always a place for him
    deep in your heart.

    And each year that passes,
    you’re even more glad,
    More grateful and proud
just to call him your dad!

    Thank you, Dad…
    for listening and caring,
    for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!

This has been an amazing first Father’s Day for me. If I turn out to be half the father my dad is then I will consider myself a successful father. My dad is an amazing man; I’ve had a great example to learn from and I’m doing my best to emulate him. I love you, Dad.

    Happy Father’s Day!

  4. Fun in the Sun at the Lake

June 14, 2008 by Monica Sepper

Katie Lynn can finally go in the water!!  Since we had her ears pierced we needed to wait 6 weeks before she was able to go swimming.  Her 6 week mark was up on the 12th so we decided it was time to introduce her to her summer best friend…WATER!!

Growing up, I remember my summers in the water, on the boat, in the sun.  These are all great memories for me and I want Katie Lynn to love the water just like I did and start to make her own memories.

Here are some pictures of her getting ready to go.

First step was to get her swim diapers on.  They are a little big, the smallest ones are for 16-26 pounds and since Katie Lynn is just under 14, there was a little size difference but they worked.

Katie Lynn got dressed up in her swimsuit, swimsuit cover-up, her flip-flops and her shades. She is ready to rock-n-roll.

Testing out the water, she is so cute!

Look at me!! I can float.

Chillin in her floaty, I think she likes the water.

1, 2, 3…swish.  She has offically been dunked, she cracks us up.

Family shot, Katie Lynn is all watered out.

All wrinkled and ready to go.

We had such a good time at the lake today.  Getting to see Katie Lynn in the water was so much fun.  She did a really good job and I can’t wait to take her swimming in our new community pool, at my folks new house and at Aunt Kims place.  She is really going to love the water!!! Hope you enjoyed all the photos.
