  1. Trip To Dallas

May 7, 2008 by Monica Sepper

Our trips to Dallas from Lubbock will be coming to an end soon.  As much as we love Lubbock and all our friends here, we are very much excited about our up coming move.

We went to Dallas this past weekend to look at houses and visit family.

Tom and I looked at 11 houses, some where just drive bys and others were okay and one was perfect.  We think this one house is perfect for our needs for the present and future.  It has 4 bedrooms, a gameroom, a greatroom and an office for Tom.  This would be perfect for what we want and need for our next home.   It is close to my school and it has a community swimming pool.  I am pretty sure that if our house was sold or under contract that we would have made an offer.  We are hoping that our house will sell soon.  I have about 4 weeks of school left and then about 2.5 months before school starts again.  I know we still have some time but would really like for our house to sell sooner than later.  So, if you know anyone, send them by.  It is a super cute house. ;)

We also visited family.  Here are some pictures:

Can you find Katie Lynn?  Since there were no bluebonnets for pictures, my mom thought it would be cute to put Katie Lynn in her beanie bears.  It was super cute and she loved it!!

Mommy, Katie Lynn and Grams.  Can you tell we are related? Head Tilt

  2. Look at me!! Look at me!!

Katie Lynn has been working really hard to sit up all by herself.  She loves to look around and to see what is going on.  She does not like to be laying down.  She has practiced lots in her bumbo seat and in our laps.  Katie Lynn has come really close to sitting up with no help.

On Sunday night she sat all by herself!!  She only sat for about 10 seconds before she toppled over.  Here she is…

I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by.  I feel like she has been her forever but then it has all happened in a blink of an eye.

Just wanted to wish Katie Lynn a very Happy 6 month Birthday!!!

Here are some of the photos we took for her 6 months:

  4. To Pierce or Not to Pierce

May 4, 2008 by Monica Sepper

We talked about it for what seemed like months and we decided to pierce Katie Lynn’s ears. I check around town to find the best place and we went to Claire’s. The nice lady who took care of us has been doing this for about 8 years. Good Deal.

Katie Lynn was very excited about this adventure and couldn’t wait! We took her in after work and got her set up. The hardest part of this was getting her dots lined up so that they would not be uneven. I think we were pretty successful.

Katie Lynn did a really good job and only cried for about 30 seconds after we were done.

Katie Lynn smiling up a storm before we got started.

Here is mommy and Katie Lynn. Katie Lynn is ready to go, she said “Go Tech”.

    Making the mark.

    One, Two, Three….not so bad.
