What a day

May 1, 2007 by Monica Sepper

Today was Kindergarten registration….we got to bring the to be kindergartens into our room and do a little project while the parents were informed on what is coming.  I can’t believe how small they are, makes me nervous about starting again next year.  Since my kids can read and write and even tie their shoes!!! I know, tie their own shoes, big deal!!! I am really looking forward to some time off this summer to get some things ready for the fall.  I sure have gotten attached to my class this year and will miss them this summer.  There are only 17 days of school left and that includes 2 half days.  Yeah for MAY!!

    Monica,
Congratulations on making it through your first year as a Kindergarten teacher!! I know you are fabulous and love your profession — and congratulations that your kids can now read, write and tie their shoes!! You have done a great job and helped them grow so much this year, and you will do the same with the next class!! Such a gift you have… I love you so very much and am so very proud of you!! You are the teacher I wanted our daughters to have as their first “real school year” teacher!!! love you so much, Mama B. (soon to be Granmama B.)
